The New Zealand Body Art Show spectacular

The New Zealand Body Art Show is a spectacular extravaganza showcasing the talent and creative excellence of our youth, graduates and professionals in this exciting and diverse art form. This year’s ‘Incredible India’ theme will bring a rich flavour of colour, music and dance whilst working with the vision and imagination of our talented artists and models.

The New Zealand Body Art Show 2010 will feature the ever popular Hand Painted, Special Effects and World of Fluorescent categories plus a new interpretation of own culture in the Maori Myths & Fantasies section.

Founded and nurtured by Executive Director and creative Mem Bourke, this extraordinary women has almost single handedley developed body art to it's academy award winning level in New Zealand.

Piripi Menary – Technical Production Manager
Piripi Menary is now a part of Hegan’s 2010 NZBAA team. Piripi started in the events industry in the mid 90’s and is now working on a number of projects like Native Noise, Pasifika, Homai Te Paki Paki.


Michael Snapper – Set Designer and Lighting Designer
Michael (Snapper) Knapp is a key member of Hegan’s 2010 NBAA team. Snapper comes from a long line of history within the entertainment industry with starting off as Senior Lighting Electrician with Opera Australia and soon after becoming the Lighting Designer/Senior Lighting Supervisor. Currently he has been working as Sale Street’s Designer/Production Manager for Alice Russell and Norman Jay Concerts, Robert Flack NZ Tour as Lighting Designer.
